How can a young person get referred to Able hands Together?
Young people can be referred to AHT by their SEND worker, school, or parents for different reasons. It could be difficulties regulating emotions, emotional based school avoidance, trauma, Autism or ADHD. The provision is open to those who attend school but find being in school every day hard as well as pupils not enrolled at a school. The young person doesn’t need to have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) but this can help with funding.
Alternative Provision opening times: Monday to Friday 9.30 -2.30 term time only.
Our alternative education provision offers each young person a set day each week. Students sign up for a term at a time.
