Able Hands Together is offering a brand new Family Service which concentrates on children who have ASD and ADHD. Families will undertake tangible projects together, such as feeding the animals, looking after the vegetables, and tending to the new flower farm. The intention of this offering is to provide work for families as equals around the farm, as a bonding and empowering experience. We also offer 30 minutes per session with our life coach Angela, who will work through a tool kit written by a child psychologist Dr Maryhan Baker. This will provide invaluable support to each family so they can move forward as a team outside the farm environment, too.
Each family will attend once a week for 10 weeks, with an assigned time slot. We will cater for four families in each session.
Donation £10 per family per session. The money raised from this project will directly fund new animals for the farm.
